For those not familiar with Stephen Colber’s brand of humor, he is a political satirist. This piece he did on being “honor bound” was a tongue-in-cheek commentary on how American’s are so easily duped into policies when thrown the “honor” bone. But according to Stephen, what Ron Paul said “Thunk right.”

I joined the Army in the early months of 2001; my patriotism led me to the recruiter’s office. I had grown up in awe of my grandfathers and their stories of World War II, and their reminiscing became my dreams. When I got to basic training I did not talk about missing home like the other recruits around me, I felt at home in ways I never had before.

The weeks after 9/11 found me in Kosovo, part of C co 3/7 Infantry, 3rd Infantry Division, patrolling the border with Macedonia as part of our duties. one of my biggest gripes is with places like GOP Straw Polls or Faux News and their claims that Ron Paul supporters are very good at manipulating polls (cheating). That we’re somehow skewing the system to make it “look” like Ron Paul is getting more poll votes than he really should be getting. Funny thing is that Ron Paul supporters are his supporters because he is honest - which is why we’re attracted to him. We’re tired of two faced lying politicians.We’ve found an honest man in politics and we’re voting for him. We vote once for him and that’s it. We don’t try to manipulate anything as that would be dishonest and diametrically opposed to why we’re voting for Paul in the first place.
