Latter-day Saints, Blew it Big Time back in the 1930’s, Trashed their Leaders

Letter to the U.S. Treasury, September 30, 1941

WWII_FirstPresidency…the Church has not found it possible to follow along the lines of the present general tendency in the matter of property rights, taxes, the curtailment of rights and liberties of the people, nor in general the economic policies of what is termed the “New Deal”…

…unless the people of America forsake the sins and the errors, political and otherwise, of which they are now guilty and return to the practice of the great fundamental principles of Christianity, and of Constitutional government, there will be no exaltation for them spiritually, and politically we shall lose our liberty and free institutions…

…We believe that our real threat comes from within and not from without, and it comes from the underlying spirit common to Naziism, Fascism, and Communism, namely the spirit which would array class against class, which would set up a socialistic state of some sort, which would rob the people of the liberties which we possess under the Constitution, and would set up such a reign of terror as exists now in many parts of Europe…

…We confess to you that it has not been possible for us to unify our own people even upon the necessity of such a turning about, and therefore we cannot unfortunately, and we say it regretfully, make any practical suggestion to you as to how the nation can be turned about.”

(Heber J. Grant, also J. Ruben Clark, Jr. and David O. McKay signed as the First Presidency, written during World War II Letter to the U.S. Treasury, September 30, 1941

The Christian Constitutionalist Mourns His Country

Today the Christian constitutionalist mourns for his country. He sees the spiritual and political faith of his fathers betrayed by wolves in sheep’s clothing. He sees the forces of evil increasing in strength and momentum under the leadership of Satan, the arch-enemy of freedom. He sees the wicked honored and the valiant abused. He senses that his own generation faces Gethsemanes and Valley Forges that may yet rival or surpass the trials of the early Apostles and the men of ‘76. And this gives him cause to reflect on the most basic of fundamentals—the reason for our existence. Once we understand that fundamental, the purpose for mortality, we may more easily chart a correct course in the perilous seas that are engulfing our nation.” (The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, p. 397.)

Utah Welcomes Ron Paul

Utah Welcomes Ron Paul

UVCC Center (Formerly the McKay Event Center) at the Utah Valley University Campus (UVU)

SPREAD THE WORD, GIVE A HEART FELT WELCOME TO THE MAN WHO WAS GIVEN THECAPTAIN MORONI AWARDBEFORE A UTAH AUDITORIUM IN 2004!

This StatesMan gives real solutions & would right off the bat:

  • Cut $1 Trillion from the budget in his first year, balance the budget in 3 years
  • Abolish 5 Federal Agencies*
  • Bring the troops home and cease the Empire, ending the enriching of the moneychangers evil military-industrial-banking Complex.**

* Federal agencies are unconstitutional, putting all three branches of government—Executive, Judicial, and Legislative—under one head.

** US Troops overwhelmingly back this plan & were the top donators to the Ron Paul campaign, rather than Goldman Sachs.

Gordon B. Hinckley, in alignment with Ron Paul’s stated policies:

Gordon B. Hinckley lamented the “darker side” of empire as well as the massive financial burden stemming from the same

What a dismal station we have reached in this nation where we have borrowed and spent and failed to repay. At the close of 1994, every man, woman, and child in the United States owed as his or her part of the national debt $17,805.64. Think of it. It is a disgrace. It affects all of our monetary policies and all of our commerce. It burdens us with taxes from which there is little or no relief.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, “These Noble Pioneers,” Fireside at BYU, Feb. 2, 1997.)

We sometimes are prone to glorify the great empires of the past … But there is a darker side to every one of them. There is a grim and tragic overlay of brutal conquest, of subjugation, of repression, and an astronomical cost in life and treasure.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, “War and Peace,” Ensign, May 2003, 78)

No one can ever estimate the terrible suffering incident to these wars across the globe. Lives numbered in the millions have been lost. The terrible wounds of war have left bodies maimed and minds destroyed. Families have been left without fathers and mothers. Young people who have been recruited to fight have, in many instances, died while those yet alive have had woven into the very fabric of their natures elements of hatred which will never leave them. The treasure of nations has been wasted and will never be recovered.

The devastation of war seems so unnecessary and such a terrible waste of human life and national resources.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, “An Unending Conflict, a Victory Assured,” Ensign, Jun 2007, 4–9)

I have lived long enough now to know that many political campaigns, for example, are the same. I have heard again and again the sweet talk that leads to victory but never seems to be realized thereafter.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, Standing for Something, pp. 170–171.)

Latter-Day Saints in 2012 Seek Murder of Their Leaders?

Of course any real latter-day saint is not out seeking the murder of their church leaders, but unwittingly, they support just such a cause by voting in again and again monstrous traitors, such as Orrin Hatch who has backed every piece of the evil police state, even boasting to be one of the authors of the Patriot Act—ever putting the “strings of tyranny” upon the sleeping Elders, Orrin and other LDS professing politicians are fulfilling Ezra Taft Benson’s lamentation of such strings of tyranny being put upon the docile and inept church members who seem bent on not waking to a “sense of our awful situation” as commanded by Moroni in Ether 8:18–25.

Ron Paul Opposed the Patriot Act which was not made available before voting on it began

It was Ron Paul in 2004, visiting Utah twice that year who distinguished himself, refreshingly, from the rest of the congress.  He told large audiences that he would not vote for legislation that neither he nor his staff could obtain a copy to read, let alone one that butchers the Bill of Rights.  He told those audiences of the 24 hours a day search by he and his staff seeking to obtain a copy of the Patriot Act before voting on it began. Certainly, a tribunal of the US Founding Fathers would convict and find guilty of treason any Congressman or Senator voting for bills they had not read, especially bills that were not available to read and those which have done so much damage to the liberties of the people of this nation.

Paralleling the book of 3 Nephi to our time, LDS Church President, Ezra Taft Benson said:

“Secret combinations flourished because, as Helaman tells us, the Gadianton robbers ‘had seduced the more part of the righteous until they had come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils’ (Helaman 6:38)… even as today.” (Ezra Taft Benson “The Savior’s Visit to America” May Ensign 1987. p.4.)

Latter-day Saints did not go to the polls in 2012 and vote on principle, but got caught up in seeking the praise of the world by upholding a fellow church member into office—a man who probably is not evil, but his stances on liberty are frightening and not Constitutional. (And there are those who stand with the Prince of Peace who indeed do speak of Romney as being nothing less than evil with all of his militarism and warmonger chicken-hawk rhetoric, along with most of the rest of LDS people and evangelical zealots who lust for blood, shed in their name by token of the “darker side” of the American empire.)

Add to Romney’s horrible policies that further the welfare/warfare state all the incumbent traitors repeatedly sent back to Washington who extend the Patriot Act, vote for the NDAA, and on all the major issues are united with Democrats in obliterating the Bill of Rights, and one wonders how it is that with the quotations cited below, these people can profess to believe in prophets or in scripture.

It would seem, many-a-latter-day saint lust for the day when their church leaders—and they themselves—will be hounded and hunted, jailed and murdered, for it’s happened before and it shall happen yet again:

“There will yet be martyrs; the doors of Carthage shall again enclose the innocent.” (Bruce R. McConkie “The Coming Tests, Trials, and Glory,” May Ensign, 1980. p.73.)

Why would any latter-day saint be seduced to vote for traitors? Are not the voting records up for all to see? Do such people not know of nor understand and comprehend the implications of the NDAA, a power given to the President that was not exercised by King George III, the very tyrant the noble US Founders pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor in declaring independence from?

And remember this from Ezra Taft Benson, you who sit comfortable and cry “all is well in zion” and deny the warnings of scripture as well as the obvious reality and trends in current events:

“Moroni described how the secret combination would take over a country and then fight the work of God, persecute the righteous, and murder those who resisted. Moroni therefore proceeded to describe the workings of the ancient secret combinations so that modern man could recognize this great political conspiracy in the last days. (See Ether 8:23–25.) (Conference Report, Oct.. 1961, Improvement Era, Dec. 1961, p. 954; as quoted in God, Family, Country, p. 349.)

And yet more:

“Today the Christian constitutionalist mourns for his country. 397.)

President Benson cites President J. Reuben Clark’s warning that, “’we stand in danger of losing our liberties, and that once lost, only blood will bring them back; and once lost, we of this church will, in order to keep the Church going forward, have more sacrifices to make and more persecutions to endure than we have yet known.…’ (CR, April 1944, p. 116.) He also stated that if the conspiracy ‘comes here it will probably come in its full vigor and there will be a lot of vacant places among those who guide and direct, not only this government, but also this Church of ours.’ (CR, April 1952, p. 80.) (Conference Report, April 1972, Ensign, July 1972, p. 61; as quoted in God, Family, Country, p. 323; quoted also in The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, p. 107; again on pp. 658–659.)

The sad and shocking story of what has happened in America in recent years must be told. Our people must have the facts. There is safety in an informed public. There is real danger in a complacent, uninformed citizenry. This is our real danger today. Yes, the truth must be told even at the risk of destroying, in large measure, the influence of men who are widely respected and loved by the American people. The stakes are high. Freedom and survival is the issue.” (The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, p. 582.)

Youtube Clip of Romney’s Loathsome Upholding of the NDAA

The above clip would have us wondering if Romney has not ever considered the obvious in terms of government and restricting power, despite people professing to be angels to be “trusted.” Thomas Jefferson schools Romney:

In questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.”

And J. Reuben Clark decried any such treason as the NDAA, Patriot Act, and all these other pieces of legislation destroying the Bill of Rights under guise of the “war on tError.”

J. Reuben Clark’s words rebuke all found upholding and supporting the NDAA and Patriot Act

God provided that in this land of liberty, our political allegiance shall run not to individuals, that is, to government officials, no matter how great or how small they may be. Under His plan our allegiance and the only allegiance we owe as citizens or denizens of the United States, runs to our inspired Constitution which God Himself set up. So runs the oath of office of those who participate in government. A certain loyalty we do owe to the office which a man holds, but even here we owe, just by reason of our citizenship, no loyalty to the man himself.

I wish to say with all the earnestness I possess that when you youth and maidens see any curtailment of these liberties I have named, when you see government invading any of these realms of freedom which we have under our Constitution, you will know that they are putting shackles on your liberty, and that tyranny is creeping upon you, no matter who curtails these liberties or who invades these realms, and no matter what the reason and excuse therefore may be. (J. Reuben Clark, Jr., The Improvement Era, vol. 43, no. 7 (July 1940), p. 444)

Most latter-day saints I know just don’t get this concept, certainly they sense no danger in voting for smiling faced politicians who profess their same faith and have an “R” next to their name.

Strings of Tyranny Are Being Put Upon the Sleeping Elders of Israel

Latter-day Saints are under condemnation, a scourge and judgement, in part because they are dumbed down and deceived that they can’t see, and this because they “treat lightly the Book of Mormon” which is written for our day. Ezra Taft Benson speaks of this deception and the sleeping Elders of Israel.

Ezra Taft Benson lamented the state of sleep and slumber of the Elders of Israel and the bondage that would be their for failing to wake up as the strings of tyranny were put upon them.

It is the devil’s desire that the Lord’s priesthood stay asleep while the strings of tyranny gradually and quietly entangle us until, like Gulliver, we awake too late and find that while we could have broken each string separately as it was put upon us, our sleepiness permitted enough strings to bind us to make a rope that enslaves us.

For years we have heard of the role the elders could play in saving the Constitution from total destruction. But how can the elders be expected to save it if they have not studied it and are not sure if it is being destroyed or what is destroying it?” (Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson p. 619–620. also (An Enemy Hath Done This, p. 313.)

Additionally he stated:

The devil knows that if the elders of Israel should ever wake up, they could step forth and help preserve freedom and extend the gospel. Therefore the devil has concentrated, and to a large extent successfully, in neutralizing much of the priesthood. He has reduced them to sleeping giants. (An Enemy Hath Done This, p. 275., also Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson p. 619.)

This is disturbing, and we are certainly now seeing the “strings of Tyranny” being put upon the Latter-day Saints. Most are happy to support this, thinking that the Patriot Act is acceptable, the National ID card, along with the legion of other legislation which most are not even aware of. This post 911 landslide of legislation has compromised in extreme the Bill of Rights. In a coming day, we will witness, chillingly, just what butchery has occurred to that wonderful Constitution when the “great whore” turns the multitudes of the nations against the covenant people of the Lamb. (1 Ne. 14.)

The Book of Mormon Condemns Torture, Preemptive War

There are, in fact, some Latter-day Saints who do believe their own scripture and adhere to correct principles.  Oh, that all the Latter-day Saints would take the Book of Mormon as their guide and cease upholding secret combinations and selling out their principles trying to be popular with the world—or even to get one of their own elected, when his platform is one approved of by the Council on Foreign Relations with policies condemned in LDS scripture.

Thankfully, Ron Paul stands as a good measure and example, an outstanding Christian man who has not nor does he spew religious fakery for the gullible as measured campaign rhetoric.  He does not wear religion on his lapel as do the hypocrites akin to those whom Jesus condemned repeatedly in his Ministry on earth in Palestine 2000 years ago.

An Ugly, Wicked, Evil and Abusive Statism ahead as Sheeple vote CFR Team A vs CFR Team B

Treasonous Obama and Romney pretend to oppose each other, but both work the agenda of and pander to the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) with the continued course in the destruction of the liberty of the people of the United States. The CFR agenda is the overthrow of the US Constitution and the bringing forth a brutal dictatorship out of the United Nations.

It is deeply unfortunate, to see how much disdain LDS people have held the counsel of their own church leaders through the decades.  Rather than believe the words and take the counsel of prophets, most of these “saints” have worshiped butchers of the Constitution, whether it be through the the spewing of sophistry, lies and propaganda of sunday night fireside chats on the radio, or in more recent times the whole apparatus of the Military-Industrial-Banking complex which owns corporate media.

The terrorists who hit the United States on 9/11 were “a vicious, oath bound, and secret organization bent on evil and destruction,” who “woo the people with sophistry as they take control of the society.”  These are not from without, but they are from within.  They passed the Patriot Act, and all the grievous, treasonous legislation between that and the NDAA.  Indeed, they take control of the society and bamboozle foolish Americans to give up their liberty for the very foolish and false lie of “security” and safety.

The wicked and evil RobamneyCare will bring forth a death culture, and only grossly and nearly willfully ignorant Americans believe otherwise.  The foolish in society watch their liberties be eroded away and champion those treasonous machinations and measures that will prove in short order ever more ruinous to peace and prosperity.  They elect  “ambitious and scheming leaders” who lie, scheme, and spew “hollow promises.”  These evil schemers and their moneychanger masters bring about war and fill the world with violence, just as before the flood of Noah.  They will be responsible for bringing about the ruination of many nations, as will the pride of the people who support and uphold secret combinations, even the “more part of the righteous” who have been seduced to believe in the works of and partake of the spoils of the Gadianton robbers.

http://youtu.be/Pb368Ek_4vw

Robamney represents a non-choice, for truly the CFR agenda to overthrow the US Constitution takes place under both Democrats and Republicans who are behind closed doors united on all the big issues, and only at election time do they engage in a mass propaganda charade of opposing each other, with their shills in the media distracting the people in highly emotional issues to keep their eye off the ball as bi-partisan treason continues unabated and hardly if ever reported or headlined.

Perhaps it is time for LDS professing people to actually pick up their Book of Mormon and read it the way it was meant to be read.  This in part, would mean, to read it as if “as current as the morning newspaper” as Gordon B. Hinckley said it is, and it is written for our day, and gives us solutions to our problems.  It condemns the secret combination (whose object is to overthrow the freedom of all nations, lands, and countries,) we now see taking control of our society and having near sole management of the government.  It warns that if we “suffer” this secret combination to completely take over our nation, then it will be to our overthrow and destruction, and will incur God’s wrath down upon our heads and we shall be swept off the face of the Land of America.

If you cast a ballot for US Senator Orrin Hatch, you support secret combinations.  If you cast a ballot for Mitt Romney, based on his stances and treasonous positions, you uphold secret combinations.

People with any sense listen to this clip by Mitt Romney and are horrified and repulsed at such a Stalinist/Maoist/Leninist stance:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1XwKjnOaqE

Some words to remember, and many reading these words will, as they did in the time they were given, scorn them, and continue to “mentally stone” prophets and ultimately the Lord who would heal our land and protect us if we would stand for righteous principles rather than the sophistry of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Paralleling our time to 3 Nephi in the Book of Mormon, LDS Church President, Ezra Taft Benson condemned the majority—good people—for upholding evil, yet they don’t even realize it because they won’t do the study and prayer they are counseled to do:

Secret  combinations flourished  because, as Helaman tells us, the Gadianton robbers ‘had seduced the more part of the righteous until they had come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils’ (Helaman 6:38). …even as today.”  (Ezra Taft Benson  “The Savior’s Visit to America”  May Ensign 1987.  p. 4.)

And we are seeing the battle lines being drawn now, people on one side or the other beginning to manifest.  Lucifer with his huge control grid of Welfare/Warfare statism and dominance on one side, the Prince of Peace and Freedom on the other where due process is afforded to all flesh, for their protection in their God-given rights—even against the TSA.

The last time Ezra Taft Benson addressed the LDS Church by power of his own voice before falling into a prophetic silence, he stated this:

I testify that as the forces of evil increase under Lucifer’s leadership and as the forces of good increase under the leadership of Jesus Christ, there will be growing battles between the two until the final confrontation. As the issues become clearer and more obvious, all mankind will eventually be required to align themselves either for the kingdom of God or  for the kingdom of the devil. As these conflicts  rage, either secretly or openly, the righteous will be tested. God’s wrath will soon shake the nations of the earth and will be poured out on the wicked without measure. (See JS—H 1:45; D&C 1:9.) But God will provide strength for the righteous and the means of escape; and eventually and finally truth will triumph. (See 1 Ne. 22:15–23.)” (Ezra Taft Benson, “I Testify,” Ensign, Nov 1988, 86)

And the battle is getting frighteningly close to full confrontation:

To all who have discerning eyes, it is apparent that the republican form of government established by our noble forefathers cannot long endure once fundamental principles are abandoned. Momentum is gathering for another conflict—a repetition of the crisis of two hundred years ago. This collision of ideas is worldwide. The issue is the same that precipitated the great pre mortal conflict—will men be free to determine their own course of action or must they be coerced?” (The Constitution: A Heavenly Banner, p. 27; as quoted in The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, p. 623.) [He stated this while Church President.]

And let us not forget J. Reuben Clark:

I wish to say with all the earnestness I possess that when you youth and maidens see any curtailment of these liberties I have named, when you see government invading any of these realms of freedom which we have under our Constitution, you will know that they are putting shackles on your liberty, and that tyranny is creeping upon you, no matter who curtails these liberties or who invades these realms, and no matter what the reason and excuse therefore may be.  (J. Reuben Clark, Jr., The Improvement Era, vol. 43, no. 7 (July 1940), p. 444)

Also, the blood we shall see if we don’t turn this around,is lamentable, as people uphold butchers to their liberty:

Brethren, if we had done our homework and were faithful, we could step forward at this time and help save this country. The fact that most of us are unprepared to do it is an indictment we will have to bear. The longer we wait, the heavier the chains, the deeper the blood, the more the persecution, and the less we can carry out our God-given mandate and world-wide mission. The war in heaven is raging on earth today. Are you being neutralized in the battle?” (Ezra Taft Benson, Conference Report, April 1965, Era, p. 539; as quoted in An Enemy Hath Done This, pp. 278–279.)

Mitt Romney Schooled with an Open Letter from Dr. Jack Monnett

Dear Mitt,

Mitt Romney “aspiring to the honors of men” and seemingly“ambitious,” dishing out “hollow promises” like other “scheming leaders” of our day.

A few years ago, I was also involved in the 2002 Olympics held in Salt Lake City. Although not in such an auspicious role as you held, I nonetheless was able to watch your actions and gather certain impressions. Sadly, the primary impression that I had was that you were able to manipulate public relations and that you were a “grandstander.” The 2012 presidential electioneering has done little to alter that impression.

Grandstanding” is another way to say that your actions were heralded and seen by others for their media attention and not for their inherent goodness. In the LDS Church we generally call that motivation “aspiring to the honors of men” with a person’s “heart set so much on the things of this world” (D&C 121:35) that principles are forsaken. It is that same “grandstanding” that brought you the nickname “Flip-Flop” Romney–earned because of your desire to appeal to everyone rather than demonstrating consistency with principles. You’ve been in favor of abortion and then against it and finally have said that you are neither pro-choice nor pro-life; in favor of auditing the fed but in favor of leaving it as it is; been on both sides of the global warming debate; been on both sides of the proposed same-sex marriage amendment; touted your mandatory healthcare legislation in Massachusetts while backtracking from its primary provisions; declined to sign a “no new taxes pledge” and then said that you had signed and stood behind it; agreed that illegal aliens should be able to seek citizenship but then said that they should not; said that same-sex couples should have the right to adopt children and then said that you were against such adoptions; and while later denying that you supported the stimulus program under George W. Bush, earlier statements of support demonstrate that that you did.

The above “flip-flops” were clear statements made to appease both those for and against the above issues. Obviously, for the person desiring to know you, there is confusion–there always seems to be a quotation to justify any particular Romney belief. When President Gordon B. Hinckley gave his stirring address, “A Testimony Vibrant and True” in August of 2005, he have a synopsis of the Book of Mormon for our time and said that the chronicled events in that book were “as current as the morning newspaper.” He went on to relate the scriptural story that “the people succumbed to the wiles of ambitious and scheming leaders who oppressed them with burdensome taxes [and] who lulled them with hollow promises.” Few can question your “ambition,” but especially because of your ambiguity, many more have come to question your “hollow promises.”

President Hinckley continued his remarks with another observation that is particularly relevant today: “These evil schemers led the people into terrible wars that resulted in the death of millions and the final and total extinction of two great civilizations in two different eras.” He was alluding to Moroni’s evaluation of the role of the Gadiantons given in the book of Ether, that “they have caused the destruction of the [Jaredites] and also the destruction of the people of Nephi.” (Ether 8:21) This was, as he said, a definite parallel to our day “as current as the morning newspaper.” That, of course, had specific reference to nonending wars on terror used to justify various aggressive invasions throughout Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq, while preparing for further actions in Syria, Iran, and other far-off countries.

In fact, although you were on both sides of the Vietnam War (agreeing with your father at one time and later stating that you had desired to be a part of the fighting forces) your views on war have been consistently hawkish. You supported the invasion of Iraq and the subsequent troop surge; you are on record calling for “blockade, bombardment and surgical military strikes” against Iran; and have recommended an additional 100,000 troops to the United States military. Of current war tactics, you have said that you would double the size of the Guantanamo facility; you have defended the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques” including waterboarding; and have voiced approval of military leaders continuing the policy of refusing judicial review for terrorist prisoners.

The Lord is quite specific in Section 98 of the Doctrine & Covenants that preemptive warfare (a Bush Doctrine continued through America’s current administration) violates his commandments. Perhaps you recall an address by President Spencer W. Kimball wherein he said that: “Men depend on armaments as on idols. O foolish men who think the protect the world with armaments, battleships, and space equipment when only righteousness is needed!” That almost sounds like a reaction during the GOP debates wherein one of your opponents suggested that continual warfare and militarism breeds problems rather than solves them and then asked, “Were the shoe on the other foot, how would we react to such military invasion and occupation?” President Kimball continued: “We look to foreign programs, summit conferences, land bases. We depend on fortifications, or gods of stone; upon ships and planes and projectiles, our gods of iron–gods which have no ears, no eyes, no hearts. We pray to them for deliverance and depend upon them for protection.… we train a man in the art of war and call him a patriot, thus, in the manner of Satan’s counterfeit of true patriotism we pervert the Savior’s teachings.”

Your stance on war is a particular issue that forms a wedge between you and the teachings you embraced from the Church in which you were raised. Whereas scriptures emphatically declare that we should “Renounce war and proclaim peace,” (D&C 98:16) your various statements have proclaimed otherwise. Our Founding Fathers, of whom LDS scripture explain were raised for the very purpose of pioneering our Constitution and laying the groundwork for a free country, (D&C 101:77–80) were adamantly opposed to warfare. Perhaps James Madison, the primary author of the Constitution, said it best: “Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.… No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”

Can you think of a time during your lifetime when war was not present? Doesn’t our recent history, and your various statements about warfare parallel Mormon’s observation that: “It is impossible for tongue to describe, or for man to write a perfect description of the horrible scene of the blood and carnage which was among the people.” (Mormon 5:4)

Many of those who would follow you are concerned about your apparent disregard for the Constitution and its companion, the Bill of Rights. As you know from your reading, the Lord had specific reference to them when he said: “That law of the land which is constitutional, supporting that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges, belongs to all mankind, and is justifiable before me.” He then counseled his followers to “befriend that law which is the constitutional law of the land.” (D&C 98:5–6)

Your Church has looked toward the overriding rationale of the United States Constitution as a document that supports “that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges.” Obviously, anything of a mandatory nature flies in the face of freedom; yet, mandatory healthcare (often referred to as Romneycare) is compulsory and only exists by mandate. All studies apparently agree that as a system of healthcare it is abrasively costly but, even more disconcerting, it violates not only the initial premise of the Constitution, but invades individual rights and desires for free choice of coverage. Yet, you claim authorship and even show pride in its adoption on a national level.

You understand that befriending the Constitution literally means knowing it and becoming friends with it. In a debate, however, you unabashedly admitted that you didn’t know it and deferred a Constitutional question to one of your opponents. What a dangerous precedent when the following verse of scripture unequivocally states that “whatsoever is more or less than this, cometh of evil.” You would agree that there is accountability–especially for one chosen to guide the course of a free nation.

Others have written about your disregard for the nation’s Second Amendment–the private ownership of firearms. Although you variously answered questions about your own gun ownership and eventually even joined the NRA and said that you hunted small game; as a political student and leader, you know that the Second Amendment has virtually nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with protection from abusive leaders. Your encouragement of the misnamed “assault weapons” ban and the government-aided determination of what weapons can be owned by whom once having procured government permission cannot be looked upon in any other way than infringement on the right to bear arms.

Most egregious to Constitutional protections have been your support of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and the USA PATRIOT Act (Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism). As you know, both significantly veer from Constitutional protections. Whereas our Fourth Amendment ensures Americans against “unlawful search and seizure,” the PATRIOT Act allows homes to be entered and searched without probable cause. Likewise, the PATRIOT Act trumps the Sixth Amendment written to ensure a speedy and public trial by negating the right to trial and allowing indefinite imprisonment. The NDAA reinforces the PATRIOT Act by denying trial and the right of habeus corpus to those accused (not found guilty) of perceived terrorism.

You have spoken often about the U.S Constitution and its lofty beginnings and protections. You, more so than most Latter-day Saints, understand the scriptural warning that “whatsoever is more or less than this cometh of evil.”

Both the “evil schemers” that President Hinckley referred to in the Book of Mormon, and the “awful situation” that Moroni warned modern-day readers about, have direct reference to Gadianton destruction that permeates the scripture. Nowhere do readers find that as prevalent as in the book of Helaman where they were engaged in “all manner of wickedness, contrary to the laws of their country and also the laws of their God.” (Helaman 6:22) Leaders were obviously undermining Constitutional laws with laws that were unjust, thereby “trampling under their feet the commandments of God and turning unto their own ways [to] build up unto themselves idols of their gold and their silver.” (Helaman 6:31) Little wonder that the Lord would later say that “whatsoever is more or less that this cometh of evil.”

Mormon, in abridging Helaman’s book, warned readers about Gadianton influence today. He explained how they secretly operated by “filling the judgment seats–having usurped the power and authority of the land; laying aside the commandments of God.” (Helaman 7:4) In this way “they did obtain the sole management of the government.” (Helaman 6:39) Thus they were “held in office at the head of government, to rule and do according to their wills, that they might get gain and glory of the world.” (Helaman 7:5)

Mitt, you know that government wields a two-edged sword. Although none of us are quite certain of the far-reaching consequences of its misuse, all Latter-day Saints know the sacred role of the Constitution and its precepts. To all of us, but particularly to political leaders as yourself, Section 134 of the Doctrine & Covenants recounts that: “We believe that governments were instituted of God for the benefit of man; and that he holds men accountable for their acts in relation to them, both in making laws and administering them, for the good of safety and society.” Such laws “will secure to each individual the free exercise of conscience, the right and control of property, and the protection of life.” (D&C 134:1–2)

I am deeply concerned about the above cited issues and the directions that you have chosen to respond to them. They are troubling because as a potential president of our country, weighty decisions could be made to significantly curtail our liberties, not only perpetuating but under the guise of conservatism, actually expanding such encroachment.

Suicide Deaths of US Military, Every 80 Minutes A Vet Takes His/Her Life

The only Veteran in the Race, the the only non-CFR man addressing a topic that Robomney will never touch, is guess who? Ron Paul, of course!

These stellar weekly commentaries by a statesman have been enjoyed for decades by liberty lovers who have been aware of this gem of sanity in the US Congress, the near lone citizen patriot and statesman in the US Congress, who took his oath of office seriously, which meant he wouldn’t wheel and deal to “get things done” and he would oftime stand alone; had little clout within the corrupt system; zero lobbyist money; and relegated as a non-player in the game of the ever continued expansion of government that continues no matter which party is in power.

When will you hear the non-choice and non-change candidates, Robomney—CFR Team A vs CFR Team B—speak to any of this suicide?  You wont.  Nor will you hear the ever feigning phonies, shills, and liars for the Moneychangers, be they Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, Levin, or the rest address this lamentable and sorrowful “darker side” of American empire, the destruction of the military men and woman who now take their own lives at the rate of one ever 80 minutes.

Robamney, and the extreme ignorant and un-principled who uphold such, seem to lust for more blood and the “darker side” of empire, with its “grim and tragic overlay of brutal conquest, of subjugation, of repression, and an astronomical cost in life and treasure.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, “War and Peace,” Ensign, May 2003, 78)

Every 80 minutes another US Veteran takes his/her own life and the “Freedom Fries” and “Freedom Toast” shills for the Military-Industrial Complex will not say a word of it, be they Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, O’Reilly, or even some a bit closer to home, surely no popular statist loving talk show hosts on KSL radio (in Salt Lake City, where duped masses who should know better, uphold Romney’s vicious foreign policy that has been denounced again and again by statements of LDS Church leaders through the years,) will grieve the loss of these veterans nor a curtailment of the policy that leaves “terrible wounds of war” with “bodies maimed and minds destroyed.”

Richard Draper says Babylon, the Great Whore, has as her doctrine: “Blood = Gain,” a description for American Empire and the Military-Industrial complex.

The LDS warmonger types turn deaf, dumb, and blind to principle when “ambitious and scheming leaders” bamboozle them with war propaganda—ever another foreign boogeyman to bomb and subjugate and obliterate for the agenda of the Moneychangers and the Great Whore Babylon whose doctrine, as BYU Ancient Scripture professor, Richard Draper, says is: “Blood = Gain.”

LDS folks would do well to remember this too from Gordon B. Hinckley, delivered 31 years to the month of another of his predecessors in that office who likewise was “mentally stone[d]” by the “warlike” people who give lip service to believing in living prophets:

Shame on American’s for spitting in the face of noble statesman of the past, for despising and heaping ridicule upon the Foreign Policy, not only of US Founders, but of the Lord himself—and this we would refer to as the Monroe Doctrine which was the “inspiration of the Almighty,” said Joseph Fielding Smith, and that quote will follow.

Ezra Taft Benson articulated the foreign policy that we see LDS people in droves treating with great disdain as they worship the Warfare/Welfare statism that robs their children of a future, binding them down with intense debts for empire:

There is one and only one legitimate goal of United States foreign policy. It is a narrow goal, a nationalistic goal: the preservation of our national independence. Nothing in the Constitution grants that the president shall have the privilege of offering himself as a world leader. He is our executive; he is on our payroll; he is supposed to put our best interests in front of those of other nations. Nothing in the Constitution nor in logic grants to the president of the United States or to Congress the power to influence the political life of other countries, to ‘uplift’ their cultures, to bolster their economies, to feed their people, or even to defend them against their enemies.” (The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, p. 614; see also pp. 682 & 704.)

Now, what of the Monroe Doctrine? Certainly the Doctrine was totally abandoned when entering WWI, to say nothing of WWII which the LDS Church First Presidency opposed, including its predicted outcome that would (did) enrich the Moneychangers, just as J. Reuben Clark prophesied would be the case. Is the Monroe Doctrine worth anything in a day when “ambitious and scheming leaders” have bamboozled the “more part of the righteous” to come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils? Yes! LDS Apostle, Joseph Fielding Smith said the Monroe Doctrine—which Ron Paul is in alignment with and for which LDS neocons demean him—was “the inspiration of the Almighty” and the “greatest and most powerful fortification in America.” Pres. Benson quotes him in the following:

In the decade prior to the restoration of the gospel, many countries of South America fought wars of independence to free themselves from European rule. Russia, Austria, and Prussia, however, urged France to aid Spain and Portugal to restore their monarchies in South America. This effort was repulsed by a proclamation from the United States government known as the Monroe Doctrine. The heart of the Monroe Doctrine consists of these words: “The American continents … are henceforth not to be considered as subjects for future colonization by any European powers.”

The Lord had promised, “I will fortify this land against all other nations” (2 Ne. 10:12). President Joseph Fielding Smith said that “the greatest and most powerful fortification in America is the ‘Monroe Doctrine.’ … It was the inspiration of the Almighty which rested upon John Quincy Adams, Thomas Jefferson and other statesmen, and which finally found authoritative expression in the message of James Monroe to Congress in the year 1823” (The Progress Of Man, Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., pp. 466–67). (Ezra Taft Benson, “A Witness and a Warning,” Ensign, Nov. 1979, 31)

Quoting directly from the Monroe Doctrine—which is the “inspiration of the Almighty,” we read that we (USA) will not interfere in the internal concerns of other nations:

Our policy, in regard to Europe, which was adopted at an early stage of the wars which have so long agitated that quarter of the globe, nevertheless remains the same, which is, not to interfere in the internal concerns of any of its powers; to consider the government de facto as the legitimate government for us; to cultivate friendly relations with it, and to preserve those relations by a frank, firm, and manly policy; meeting, in all instances, the just claims of every power; submitting to injuries from none. (from President James Monroe’s seventh annual message to Congress, December 2, 1823) http://www.ushistory.org/documents/monroe.htm

Ron Paul wants a strong national defense at home, not empire abroad, and the US Troops have given more to his campaign than all other candidates combined, both CFR Team A Republicans and CFR Team B Democrats. (But the saps who take FOX or CNN for their news source, or Glenn Beck for that matter, would have you believe Ron Paul wants Iran to nuke us all; send your kid to a brothel to explore the world of prostitution and smoke doobies.)

George Washington’s Farewell Address in 1796:

I shall ask your indulgence while I express with more lively sensibility, the following most ardent wishes of my heart….

That we may avoid connecting ourselves with the Politics of any Nation, farther than shall be found necessary to regulate our own trade…. In a word, nothing is more certain than that, if we receive favors, we must grant favors; and it is not easy to decide beforehand under such circumstances as we are, on which side the balance will ultimately terminate; but easy indeed is it to foresee that it may involve us in disputes and finally in War, to fulfil political alliances. Whereas, if there be no engagements on our part, we shall be unembarrassed, and at liberty at all times, to act from circumstances, and the dictates of Justice, sound policy, and our essential Interests.

That we may be always prepared for War, but never unsheath the sword except in self defence so long as Justice and our essential rights, and national respectability can be preserved without it;” http://www.fee.org/vnews.php?nid=492

Echoing Washington, John Quincy Adams said in his address of July 4, 1821: “America goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.” http://www.fee.org/vnews.php?nid=492

How unfortunate it is, that such a vast majority of the people, especially the LDS people, are, as Hugh Nibley (also a US Veteran) points out, more prone than any for a “military solution.” This mindset was condemned by Spencer W. Kimball in his appraisal of the LDS people and the nation as a whole on it’s 200th Anniversary of Independence, the June 1976 First Presidency message, which Nibley points out, was “given the instant deep freeze.”

Spencer W. Kimball:

Spencer W. Kimball’s appraisal of the National bloodlust and LDS people on the nations Bicentennial was “given the instant deep freeze.”

When I review the performance of this people…. I am appalled and frightened…. We are a warlike people, easily distracted from our assignment of preparing for the coming of the Lord. When enemies rise up, we commit vast resources to the fabrication of gods of stone and steel – ships, planes, missiles, fortifications – and depend on them for protection and deliverance. When threatened, we become anti-enemy instead of pro-Kingdom of God; we train man in the art of war and call him a patriot, thus, in the manner of Satan’s counterfeit of true patriotism, perverting the Savior’s teaching: ‘Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven.’ ” (Spencer W. Kimball, “The False Gods We Worship,” Ensign, June 1976, 3)

More from Gordon B. Hinckley lamenting the darker side of empire, and certainly a US Veteran every 80 minutes taking his/her life is dark:

I have walked with reverence through the British cemetery on the outskirts of Rangoon, Burma (now known as Myanmar), and noted the names of hundreds and thousands of young men who came from the villages, towns, and great cities of the British Isles and who gave their lives in hot and distant places…

All who have lived upon the earth before us are now gone. They have left all behind as they have stepped over the threshold of silent death. As I have visited these various cemeteries I have reflected, first, on the terrible cost of war. What a fruitless thing it so often is, and what a terrible price it exacts.” (BYU devotional, Oct. 31, 2006)

Robamney: CFR Team A vs CFR Team B—Both are CFR

The Establishment Con Game Goes on and on, Election cycle after election cycle, where the candidates put before the people are essentially one in the same, be they CFR Team A or CFR Team B. It’s all a big show and theater for public consumption. Some are waking to the fool exercise and refuse to be conned further by choosing the “establishment” candidates.

In the 1960’s, Bill Clinton’s mentor, Carroll Quigley, professor of History at Georgetown, authored a book entitled “Tragedy and Hope.” He had been given the private documents and writings of the power elite and commissioned to write a book for them, which was not intended for public consumption, as it revealed their plans that the populace at large should not be awakened to. The elite can’t afford the sheeple to become the “informed citizenry” that Thomas Jefferson said was essential to maintaining a free society.

The Elite care not what “candidate” is selected and put in office when that candidate is under their control, be they Democrat or Republican, it makes little difference.  The astute observer of politics over time begins to recognize that there may be a few slight trimmings for show in change, nothing of any major effect is ever changed despite the election of the other party into office.  When we have the establishment put forth candidates backed by their nefarious Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) it matters not to them who it is that is their spokesperson, puppet, and stooge in the White House, be they CFR Team A or  CFR Team B, as columnist Gary North puts it.

Author G. Edward Griffin refers to the con game played out as the “Quigley Formula” described here:

The National parties and their presidential candidates, with the Eastern Establishment assiduously fostering the process behind the scenes, moved closer together and nearly met in the center with almost identical candidates and platforms, although the process was concealed as much as possible, by the revival of obsolescent or meaningless war cries and slogans (often going back to the Civil War). … The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy. … Either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.” [Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time (New York: Macmillan, 1966), pp. 1247–1248.]

Additionally:

It is increasingly clear that, in the twentieth century, the expert will replace … the democratic voter in control of the political system. Hopefully, the elements of choice and freedom may survive for the ordinary individual in that he may be free to make a choice between two opposing political groups (even if these groups have little policy choice within the parameters of policy established by the experts) and he may have the choice to switch his economic support from one large unit to another. But, in general, his freedom and choice will be controlled within very narrow alternatives by the fact that he will be numbered from birth and followed, as a number, through his educational training, his required military or other public service, his tax contributions, his health and medical requirements, and his final retirement and death benefits.” (Tragedy and Hope: pp 866).

As one contemplates the reality of really “no choice,” given in election cycles, one begins to understand more fully and comprehend the warning by the Book of Mormon prophet Moroni when he puts forth the Command of God to us in our day that we must “awake to a sense of your awful situation” for our having tolerated and permitted this vast secret combination to be built up above us which seeks to “overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries” which of course is the CFR agenda.

As it is very obvious to the honest and astude observer, Romney is hardly different than Obama, and this is by design. The “Quigley Formula” con game is played out by the elite on a majority of the citizenry who manifest ignorance, despite their flag waving patriotism. They are effective dupes who haven’t quite figure out what LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley saw clearly, as quoted from his little book, “Standing for Something” (with foreword by CBS Newsman, Mike Wallace):

Gordon B. Hinckley

I have lived long enough now to know that many political campaigns, for example, are the same. I have heard again and again the sweet talk that leads to victory but never seems to be realized thereafter. We need moral men and women, people who stand on principle, to be involved in the political process. Otherwise, we abdicate power to those whose designs are almost entirely selfish.”  ~ Gordon B. Hinckley (Standing for Something, pp. 170–171.)(emphasis added.)

Gordon B. Hinckley had been counselor to LDS Church President, Ezra Taft Benson, who likewise lamented the blindness of well meaning people, seemingly unable to recognize the pattern.  These people, despite being well meaning, are ineffective and worthless in the protection of their liberties and the maintenance of the Republic:

If America is destroyed, it may be by Americans who salute the flag, sing the national anthem, march in patriotic parades, cheer Fourth of July speakers — normally good Americans who fail to comprehend what is required to keep our country strong and free — Americans who have been lulled away into a false security.” (April 1968, General Conference Report)

Is Mitt Romney a good man?  Probably he is in the general sense.  Surely he is not an evil man. We can commend him for being a good husband and father, and surely many other things.  We who support Ron Paul don’t attack Mitt Romney, nor Obama for that matter, personally.  But the ideas these men put forth—the un-American destructive policies that further put the strings of tyranny upon the people of this nation—we will decry.  These would be, naming just a few, the vast militarism (not defense) manifest in the “darker side” of empire abroad, condemned and warned of by the US Founders, Statesemen (including the LDS Church’s First Presidency durring the time of WWII,) and patriots.  We decry the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and this horrendous power to “assassinate” “on the presidents say so alone” US citizens merely suspected as terrorists, having had not due process convicting them of so being by a jury of their peers.

We too decry Romneycare/Obamacare, which are vicious and evil, un-American, and are so far outside The Proper Role of Government as to make one shake their head in disbelief at the far flung and far afield point we’ve reached in apostatizing from the US Constitution and the writings and principles espoused by the Founders.

We commend the counsel of Joseph Smith to throw our votes away upon worthiness, and not the “lesser of two evils” nonsense CFR game played upon the people constantly.  Said Joseph before his martyrdom:

Joseph Smith

…we shall have the satisfaction of knowing that we have acted conscientiously, and have used our best judgment. And if we have to throw away our votes, we had better do so upon a worthy rather than an unworthy individual who might make use of the weapon we put in his hand to destroy us.” (Times and Seasons, Nauvoo, IV, 441. Cited also in Roberts, Comprehensive History, II, 208–209.)

May Ron Paul, the only non-CFR man with as great of a grass roots following as has been had in decades, have some divine miracles performed for the cause that he represents.  The GOP may combine, the media may spin, columny may defame, but the message of liberty will never be crushed, for God is a lover and promoter of human liberty and freedom, and ultimately, his purposes will override that of the CFR agenda of Lucifarian control and elimination of choice (even in terms of elections between CFR Team A or B).  Freedom is God’s fight, as Ezra Taft Benson stated, and if one stands for freedom, even if they stand alone, they will still stand with God.
